Wales Internet Service providers Association |
A united voice for broadband in wales |

About us |
Established in February 2011, the association aims to improve self regulation within the Welsh ISP sector and drive the competition within the Welsh internet industry. Ultimately this should lead to a better internet experience for the people of Wales and a united, fair voice to communicate about the issues faced. As a trade association, membership is voluntary but the companies who choose to become members of WISPA agree to abide by the WISPA UK Code. WISPA members' allegiance to the Code means that consumers can view the WISPA UK logo as a mark of commitment to good business practice. The chairman of WISPA is former head of Ofcom Hywel Williams. Mr Wiliam, who was born in St Asaph but grew up in Barry, brings a wealth of experience to the organisation and plays a key role in achieving the goals and objectives of WISPA.
